Discover Selby
Selby is a pretty market town in the country of North Yorkshire, just 14 miles south of the historic City of York and lying on the river Ouse. The town has a superb Abbey founded in AD1069 and the market has been a feature for centuries.
Walkers and cyclists love the scenery in and around Selby and in particular the Trans Pennine Trail cycleway with its direct path into the heart of York. Selby Town Hall is regarded as one of the best live venues in the area, having won the Yorkshire Post’s ‘Nightlife Award’. Expect local band nights, big crowds and the annual Battle of the Bands which has been known to sell out in a matter of hours!

Hello, I’m Carl Smales from Park Row Properties. I was born in the area as were my parents and grandparents, so I feel extremely proud to be able to help others live in such a fantastic place. I’ve worked in property since 1996 and I’m a ‘Level 3’ Member of the National Association of Estate Agents. I love sharing my property knowledge to help take the stress away from you, when selling or buying. I’m married to an Assistant Head Teacher of a local primary school and have four children. I genuinely believe that every property sale is bespoke and I always act with honesty, trust and integrity.
Amanda Shaw
Manager
I’m Amanda and manage the Selby and Goole branches of Park Row Properties. I am passionate about ensuring that every client has a positive experience with Park Row. I enjoy working with our Vendors to ensure we achieve the ‘Best Possible Price’ whilst delivering the highest standard of service. I’m extremely proud of being a part of our amazing team and the skills each individual member brings. Outside of work, I’m an ardent Leeds United supporter and like to watch as many games as possible!

I'm Will and I joined Park Row last year. I am currently in training as a Sales Negotiator and enjoying working with customers in buying and selling houses. Living and working in the area, I have knowledge of the local area and can help with any queries you may have. In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sports.

Hi I am Nichola Mills and have been the Sales Progression Manager here at Park Row Properties since 2013, further, to working in estate agency and conveyancing since 1992. I enjoy my role helping both our vendors and our buyers from their sales and purchases being agreed to completion. There are many issues that can occur during this time and I try to assist, liaising with all parties including solicitors and other estate agents involved, with the main aim of seeing our customers move into their dream homes.
